I can't even stand to look at it much less eat it. What is it exactly? My hubby loves it. I guess you would have to have grown up with it. It just looks yucky to me.

It's yeast extract and 100% vegitarian (if that turns you on!). I used to work in an abbatoir once and the smell of the place on a monday after a hot weekend was similar to Marmite. YUM YUM!!

Love it. I have two slices of toast for breakfast every day. On one I put honey and on the other marmite. I might add that I don't eat both slices at the same time - that would be too much of a shock to my taste buds that early in the day. And you rowan? What is your preference?

Personally I love it! When I was little that was the only thing I would ever eat in my sandwiches!!!
