Is there anything like true love?

Is there anything like true love? Is love complete in itself that you should not expect anything in return, that you can love without being loved and still call that true love? Have you ever experienced true love in your life? What was the experience?

I dearly love my hubby but the lind of love you speak of ( love without condition) is only found between a parent and their off spring in my opinion. A parent will love their child no matter what. That to me is true pure love.

I agree, and true love with another person apart from your children, does happen but is usually a very trying and painful experience.
