I drank for the first time in a while last night. I didn't even drink that much, only like 4 beers. I got a little tipsy. Well, I feel like crap this morning. I know, I'm a light-weight, lol. But my head hurts and I feel nausious (sp?).
Now my mother says (she's an alcoholic) that if I drink another beer this morning, that it will make me feel better, but the thought of that makes me sick. I just don't think I can.
What are some "cures" you've used that worked? Please hurry and respond, I'm supposed to go to Mardi Gras tonight, lol!!!

That won't work, doing this will only make you feel worst!

First of all, have fun at Mardi Gras! :)
The thing that works best for me is drink plenty of fluids, and eat a little something that is sweet if you can. I drink a lot of water and eat just one cookie and it usually settles my stomach. I hope that helps!

Drink as much hot black coffee as you can... That usually works! Then get a good full breakfast inside you with a bit of fresh fruit to follow. Drink some more black coffee and go out for a bit of air!
Try not to drink too much in future! Dont let those hangovers get you every time

I have heard about drinking the next morning but seems gross to me too. I always take a tylenol then go back to sleep.

my cure for hangovers is you have to drink a lot of caffeine but not coffee, instead drink lots of cola. that will keep you up, but not recommended for high blood people.

This is a "Scrubs" advice: For a hang-over, BANANA MILK SHAKE is the cure! Accordingly, banana calms the stomach and so does ice.

A hangover is brain swelling from dehydration. Drink lots of water and that should help prevent getting one. If you still wake up with a headache pop excedrin and drink lots more water.

You are right that the effect of the hangover is such that one feels that he/she will never drink again. I mean you feel so sick. But as soon as the effect eases out, maybe one fine evening again you will start drinking.
However I have also heard that if you drink a peg in the morning, when you are in hangover, you feel better.
Also I have seen that if I take a bath with cold water I feel 75 percent better. And if you have heavy breakfast after that it will totally go away.
I have heard about a weiried solution for hangover which I will never practice in my life. One of my friends told me that when you get up in the morning with a hangover, drink lots of warm water with salt. You will automatically feel like vomitting. After you have thrown off, you feel totally fresh. This is how you can clean your stomach and get relief.
