What's your best time of day?

I'm a morning person and am usually up well before six. In Australia I'd go to the gym, and swim every morning before work. When I moved to Thailand, I'd take my dogs for a walk every morning at five thirty. Unfortunately I no longer have dogs. What about you? Are you an early bird or a night owl?

I'm a seafarer and my duty was 4 hours off and 4 hours on that was a rotation basis and that made my eyes crazy for I was adopting a certain period of sleep and sometimes was not able to determine what time of the day lol! But when I'm on vacation my best part of the day is morning when we do some excercise together with my wife and do some quality stroll around the nieghborhood for the morning excercise as well.

I've heard of eight and twelve hour shifts, but four on and four off is new to me. How did you get used to it? Is this on a twenty-four basis? When you're on vacation, do you take naps? I bet you enjoy your vacations, and your morning exercise.

sorry for the late response been busy with work onboard we really have four hours on and 4 hours off because this ship is like factory it is just that our product is oil that's why it was 24 hours operation. I will take my vacation on april and it is 2 months vacation and I was really looking forward to it.

It really depends on what needs to be done. I can be flexible. But lately I'm more of a night person. I even exercise before bed.

Wow, you're very good. I'm too tired to exercise at night.

I am a night owl. Day is the best time for me for reading and taking care of my house. At night I can work and be on my computer or watch movies. Night is always better to see my friends and take my dogs for longer walk. There is nothing better than long summer nights.....hmmmm I miss summer already.

A start like that makes you feel well, and ready to tackle the day. Right?

I'm definitely a night owl. I just love to stay up late at night. Things quiet down. There are no cars out, noone are making lots of noise (usually). I love the peace and quiet, the dark, the stars and the moon.

When my daughter lived with me, she was twenty at the time, she would be going to bed as I was getting up, so I know where you're coming from.

I do lot of things during daytime. My day start at 7am and ends at 12midnight. Because I recently give birth with my second daugther, I am very busy in my work in the office then when im at home i do take care of my two babies. So my best time of the day is my sleeping time between 1-7am.

You certainly have your hands full, but it's one of the most exciting time of ones life, so although you're tired, enjoy your young family, it's a special time.
