This is getting upto the recent performance by him in one-dayers. Despite i agree to the fact that he performed really well in the test series against SA, but his recent performance in one dayers is not upto the mark for him to be in world cup squad. He is looking to be far behind agarkar, zaheer, pathan...& even munaf in one day performance.

srresanth should be there in worldcup squad.
if not for his talent atleast for his attitude he must be taken.
when was the last time we saw such an aggressive bowler in india.
aggression is what gives a fast bowler domination over the batsman..
all though he is not very economical he uis a wicket taker..
i think he must be given a chance as he always proved worthy in times india desperately needed a good performance..!

yes he deserves a place in the squad.. remember the pitches in the carriebean have been redone and the apparently have low bounce... this is where a player like sreeshanth comes into the pictur.. with his variety in bowling... he brings a lot to the team

Hi, bowlers like sreesanth are attacking wicket taking bowlers. Sreesanth can be especially useful when the pitch is bouncy. We all know about his excellent performance in south africa. He deserves to be in the team.
But, he has to be disciplined in that he must be strictly told to avoid bowling juicy half volleys, giving width to the batsman to free his shoulders, no balls and wides.
Also, he has to be advised to bowl at the pace in which he can control the seam and swing, line and length and not to sacrifice control for speed. With little adjustments, he can mature into a fine bowler in future for team india.
Munaf patel had understood the above better than sreesanth. He has learned to sacrifice pace for accuracy. As a result, he bowls very few loose balls and is especially good in corridor bowling, much like mcgrath. Sreesanth has to take the cue from him. Thanks.
