why dont u share ur views about peacocks!!!!!

thank you raeine, also i would like to give some info.. about this...... these birds do not sound as beautiful as they look.they have a harsh call. if u say something about this elegant beauty,this discussion will be more interesting too....

I do remember seeing a peacock at a zoo when I was a kid & I really amrveled at its beauty, especially of how wonderful its feathers looked spread out...imagine also my surprise before when I learned (but should've figured out I guess!) that a peacock is the male of the species & the females are called peahens...hehe...& males are normally more attractive than females in order to call more attention when they seek their mates, right? Anyhow, just gotta say that the peacock's color (how it even looks iridiscent at times) has got to be one if not one of the most beautiful birds I've seen =)

wonderful experiance that u had raine, u r right, the peacocks are more beautiful than peahen. the combain term for both male and female is peafowl.... peacocks need great amount of companionship.peacocks are love to be with one another and else to each other. thank u for ur respond.........continue

thank u for ur respond tammyr, u no, the indian blue and the white peacocks are same in behaviour,expect color. these white peococks are charming beauties,these are have different kinds of feathers like white eye feathers,white sword feathers,tiny white eyes, wing feathers. depend upon the shape of the feathers the name will vary.... is this informative for u........:-)
