What you say about Indian Team Fielding????

Yaa today they are fielding very well but they have to improve more to face Aus and SA.

this is the topic one has definitely respond to/.. indian fieldinn is a good one but not the best one.. u have some of thew worlds best fielders as well as worlds worst fielders like kumble... so i rate this as 7/10 not soo good not soo bad..

indian team fielding is good but lot has to improve on bowling

our fielding standards have gone down a little bit in the past few months mainly due to the absence of yuvraj and kaif... nw its a gud thing tat yuvraj is back... i think someone like ganguly,dravid munaf and kumble have to work on their fielding b4 the world cup.... if these guys field well then india will definetely look a gud fielding side

its notupto the mark..kumble!! he doesnot seems good in his fielding...even hehas so much experience...kaif is not there in the worldcup time..but wecan hope good from yuvraj,karthik....these are best at the fields......

i give my rating ...as 7/10 ... the only thing the country lacks is consistency... u find a bbulk of talent in the team... n some of the oldies like kumble...sucks... the more the youngsters in the team the better is the fielding

Though fielding is not the strongest point of indian team but the commitment that indians showed by diving around esp. seniors like ganguly, zaheer was heartening to see. it just shows when team is doing well everything seems to fall in place. And with Yuvraj coming back and leading the way things can only get better.

They can do better than what they are doing.

with yuvraj in team and lot of youngsters india is pretty much adequate in its fielding reserves atleat..z! we cannot trust our bowling and batting but in recent times fielding performance was completely errorless... so i think we are just as good as any other good team regarding fielding..

Hi, it looks safe to say that we are fielding decently nowadays than ever before. See, we indians can never be natural fielders because when we play at club level the condition of the grounds are so bad that diving and stopping is very unsafe. Only after improving to a certain level that one gets the oppurtunity to boldly dive and stop the ball without fear of injury, as you play in international grounds only then. In the present team, munaf patel and zaheer khan are in the bottom of the list of fielding. But it is heartening to see that all the other players are fielding well nowadays. Even our catching has improved significantly in the last 2 years. We drop very few catch nowadays. But it needs further improvement. Finally, hitting the stumps is grossly inadequate with the indian team. More intensive fielding practice is needed to achieve that, as in world cup, the ability to hit the stumps directly can just make the difference between winning and loosing. Thanks.
