Yes, you're right. We so often take for granted the simple, everyday things that we have, that billions of others struggle for each and every day. Being able to eat whatever I want whenever I want, have a comfortable bed to sleep in, only having to work 8 hours a day and get paid well for it, instead of working 18 hours a day of backbreaking labour for peanuts with one meal a day of bread. It's the reality that many, many people face daily. I give thanks to God for the amazing life of privilege I lead everyday. I am very grateful for my good fortune.

This is very true, but it is so easy to forget it.
I have my own house and can not only eat regularly but can choose what type of food I wish to eat. I have a radio, television and DVD player, yet despite the fact that I can live so comfortable compared to so many less fortunate people I cannot help complaining about the quality of TV programs or the fact that my bus is running late and I have to stand around for 15 minutes.
Like many other people, I spend more time complaining about what is wrong when I should be grateful for what I have. Thank you for reminding me.

personally, i am really not satisfied with the way my life is going through right now. i just feel that i can do better and that i deserve better. But though i feel this way, it doesn't mean that i am not thankful with god and with the graces that i am receiving as of the moment. i'm just dreaming for something better.
i feel that i'm just caught up in some pitstop at some race and that i am going to lose the race because i am caught in this pit stop. But i know, i'm gonna find my way.
