How can i increase my star-rating and earning?

I think you are on the right path when it comes to what you are doing to increase your star rating. However, if you want to increase your earnings you ought to try to respond more and create quality discussions too. And by getting quality responds to your discussions, this may increase your earnings. Also, after they've settled the Taiwan earthquake problems, i never get such problem as mentioned above. I am not sure about others but y husband too haven't faced with the problem (we are using different IPs with different providers).

Try your best to read and undestand all the guidelines from mylot and follow them all the times. You may already doing very well with your qualities posts but do remember that mylot was using the averages in ratio to award us the reputations rating so it is clear that it will take you some time to build up your reputations here:)Keep your good works and am sure you will see the difference from time to time:)

I faced the same question a while back so I posed the questrion to mylot staff themselves and I got a response to, here it is for yours and everyone's benefit. Dear mylot staff I would like to know how do we earn our ratings here. Is it by answering more discussionms or is it by answering more quality responses or is it a combination of both. I've had this happen too - I think there are just so many people on myLot that the poor old system falls in a heap sometimes! Perhaps you should post more discussions, add relevant pictures wherever you can and always give everyone that responds an approprate rating. If the comment is not appropriate to your discussion don't be shy and give them a -ve! Just keep on keeping on and your rating will increase i'm sure. Good luck ;)

i highly advice that when you post your responses better go to topics that you have a knowledge coz sometimes if others are not satisfied with what you answer then they put a negative rating. I know its sad but it doesn't mean you stop. Go on and try again as long as youre giving your best.

just do discussion as much as possible and go for referal coz in this way you can earn as much as 25%

If you want your star rating and earnings to go up. I suggest you make discussions that take 3 or 4 sentences to answer. Instead of the one or two word answers. As the one or two questions are against my lots guidelines. You loose earnings, get a possible discussion deleted and your star ratings will go down. When answering discussions. Try to answer with at least two ro three sentences. Do not post link sites or referal as these are a big no no.

It's really wonderful to have a high star rating but the longer you stay in mylot the more you'll get disappointed if you'll just focus on trying to get a high star rating. People who used to have a 10 just slid down to 9,8,7 or even lower for reasons unknown to them. I tried my best to regain my 10 but to no avail. I exerted extra efforts to post quality discussions everytime and follow all the rules but it seems I got stuck with my rating and there are times I see an incremental decrease. I finally decided to just give up the idea and just keep on doing my best in answering discussions the best way I could regardless of the star rating system. I know of some users who got disappointed and decided to leave.

i don't know about how to increase our star ratinga but one thing i can tell you that happend to me. when i reach to 100 post my star rating is only 2.At that time i am also very keen about my star ratings but as i posted further n further my star rating increased directly to 6 which is now i am having. I think you should keep pations don't get panic n keep posting your star rating will also increases. by the way i don't think star ratings will make effect on our earnings so don't worry.

To increase your reputation you should post responses which are both qualitative as well as quantitative.It also depends on how many users rate you positively.

I guess its your internet connection thats having the problem.i havent expirienced that here bacause my internet provider here is always ok. you can actually respond to everything that is in here.aslongasyou can say somethng meaningful and relevant. i guess you are lucky than me. i have a lot of respone. but what i got is just too little. however it is ok for me. just feel a little bit lazy here. and my also my english is really poor.
