What ways do you promote your blog?

I use blog traffic exchange programmes like blogexplosion.com, they deliver good traffic, you just read other peoples blogs and get credit for each one you read which you then apply to your blog and people read yours in return. There's not only blog explosion there's blogazoo, blog advance blog soldiers etc too, these are all blog traffic exchanges.

I join a lot of public community blogs where I have links to my blogs in my signature.

Add to blog and rss directories, add to socialbookmark sites, comment on related blogs. don't forget to ping your blog after posting new post. If you're using WP it can be done automatically.

I just started using the social bookmarking sites. I'm hoping that works. I've already seen some traffic driven to my blogs. I'm using http://del.icio.us/jayperiod and http://www.furl.net/members/jayperiod.

I always put my links in my signature in most of digital scrapbooking forums! That's where I got most of my visitors.

I tell everybody about my blog; I e-mail people and ask them to read my blog. I post comments in the newspapers and magazines and provide them with my website; and overall try to get as many individuals interested in reading my blog. Good Luck
