We all know that relatives of many patients on ventilator or in a vegetable state choose to pull the plug and put their kin out of their misery.. in a similar situation, how would you react? I would never kill the person knowing that there is even the most minuscle chance of a miracle saving them.. unless they themselves had expressed misery about their lives and the ventilator was needed for some other critically ill patient.. so people.. what do you have to say about this topic?

i am for it. it is good for the patient and as well as for the relatives of the patient. it is of no use for the patient to be on a ventilator, if the chances of survival are very slim.

I guess.. you're a doc then? no offence.. my mum's one too.. but I would never givve up on a loved one.. unless all hope was lost and someone else needed the machine..then I'd have to ross my heart and do the needful.
