I'm buying a new computer soon and already had my mind set on windows XP since now I have windows Me. Now they came out with that new windows Vista. What is the deal with that?
I thought Windows XP was suppose to be the best ever windows. I think it would be a safer bet to go with windows XP what do you think?

I think you should go with vista, because it's the newest windows, and a lot of vendors already recommends and bundled it with their products. Vista is better than XP because XP is already 5 years old, vista must have fixed a lot of XP's weakness and add more features.. I've seen one amazing feature of vista, I'm sorry I forgot what it called but it's about the appearance of the windows on your desktop.

Yes you are right.
T think Windows XP is the best Windows Operating system ever.
Windows Vista is good but it has many many requirements.
It require minimum 512 MB RAM to apply its Aeroglass effect.
It need fast and good duela core procerssor.
Moreover complete package of MS Windows Vista is very bog in size.
It may occupy around 6 to 7 GB in HDD so you must have HDD with large capacity.
The security in Windows Vista is very strong.
So whenever you do any kind of file operation it may ask you about these changes. This is good for security but it is very annoying thing.
The Vista is also has high prize than Windows XP so if you buy computer with MS Windwos Vista you have to pay more.
So moral of he story is Windows Xp is best.
