Books or eBooks?

Do you prefer buying a book or having an electronic copy of it? I don't read much but for those books that interest me more like informatics and stuff I don't really mind if I get an eBook. I know some of you will say that it's not the same thing but since originals are normally really expensive in stores I think of eBooks as a good way to get information without having to buy the book. Tell me your opinions.

I prefer reading books, it's tiring reading on the monitor all day...

Thanks for your reply and I also agree with you but as long as I normally don't read any other thing than magazines or tech-related books on the screen I guess it's ok.

I also download my eBooks from eMule but maybe you can find some of them in BitTorrent too, at least there are some BT trackers that have an eBook category.

I personally would rather have the old fashioned books because if I try to read a book from the computer, my eyes start to bother me.

i prefer ebooks, no volume, no preocupation with space in the house, when you want to read something, only go to computer to search and have fun.

I still prefer to read books in paper. That is because I do most of my reading either in bed before I go to sleep, or when on the train too and from work.
