my girlfriend asked me that when we were going out. and i never really got to answer her....now i understand what it is. whats ur opinion of love?

well this would be a great answer.. Love is when a puppy lick you even after you left her/him alone eall day.
Love is sacrifice. Somtimes you sacrifice time and space, interests and used to do things, family and friends, work and studies, plan and dreams, etc..

I think love is the reason why people make sacrifices for the benefit of their loved one. It is not just the love inside the relationship but the love that goes with it. I think the best thing to determine if it is really love is that if you have encountered trials and you still managed to get through with it accepting the weaknesses of each other.

Oh, definitely. I am sure I made plenty of sacrifices in my life for the person I loved. I'm sure she did too.
