Moving into a new house is both exciting and fearsome. It is exciting in a sense that you will face a new environment, a new beginning will rise. It is fearsome because you will never know what will happen next. Will the neighbors be amiable and helpful? Share me your thoughts.

We just purchased this home 9 years ago. It was so exciting. I will never forget when we signed the last of the loan papers. It was really ours. Our daughters took their sleeping bags and spent the first night in the floor with their friends. LOL We did not move in for a few days. The girls thought it was just great.
The scary thing is wondering if you will be able to make the mortgage payments till it is paid off.

Oh goodness, I have moved 10 times in 10 years!! 5 of those 10 were to a new state! Crazy, I know. But my husband has been looking for his 'niche' in life. I believe he has finally found it. Every time we've moved, there's always something very special about the place that we didn't have in the last place, and, there's always something we don't like it. . . except this time.
We moved to this house 5 months ago. It's a 50 year old home and needed paint, floors, and a good cleaning! Once we were done with getting it to be 'us' we absolutely LOVE it. I cannot think of one thing I'd change about this house other than installing a garbage disposal and new windows. On some of our moves, I've had major anxiety worrying about where we were going to end up living, but every time, it ended up that we found just the right place.
We have a very special cat who has moved with us every time too! She loves this house better than all the rest of them too. We can tell. She has her own yard. :)

Yes, I have done this three times! I find it very exciting. A lot of very hard work but also very fun. The most fun for me is 'making it my home,' doing things like painting it, arranging my stuff there and hanging family photos and more! I love decorating and it is fun to slowly, as money allows, change wall colors and that type of thing! It is always neat to see how much different your belongings look in a different space! Also fun is meeting new neighbors! You have access now to people whom you may never have met! Hopefully you will become good friends! I find it exciting rather than fearsome! Well, I guess there is always a certain bit of anxiety....

This house I lived in used to be a new house. I lived here for 5 yrs and left for 12 yrs and now back again for 6 yrs. I has become an old house. I believe I am destined to live in this house. Hopefully until I die. I used to live here with my grandmother who lived up to 113 yrs old. Now I live here with my two nephew.
