Here's another fess up time! What have you bought that was "As Seen on TV"? You know, those infomerical products that we all see? Was is the pasta pot? Or the Perfect Pancake? What did you fall for?
Give us an update and review as well - did it work? Did it live up to its claims? Do you still use it?

LOL I have only purchased one thing off of tv. Let me tell you though, it was one of the best purchases I have ever made.
I don't know if anyone will remember or not but a long time ago they were selling the "Sportsman Dream Knives". It was a full knife set that could also be used in the kitchen. They claimed they never needed sharpening or anything like that and if they ever broke, they would replace them free.
Well, after about 8 years of using them, I still have them and they are still as sharp as the day I bought them. I have had to replace 3 of them (totally my fault), and they never charged me for the replacements!
They are great!
Even though it was a good experence, I still dont know if I would purchase something off of tv again, however, they do have some cool stuff lately that my oldest daughter has been wanting.

Lol You got some weird but fun topics to answer but you got me I have bought something because I have seen it on tv. Have you seen that pasta marker that you throw your noodles or hotdogs in then pour in boiling water put the lid on then sit for 5 mins till cooked? Have you seen this?lol Its complete junk if you ask me and it barely cooks anything. The water has got to sit in it for like 20-25 minutes to cook noodles. What a waste that was I will never fall for that tv crap again.

We bought the egg peeler thing - and promptly returned it! It destroyed so many of our hard boiled eggs, didn't work at all. The peels didn't even partially come off.
I see people around me get excited by commercials for things all the time, but I am always trying to talk them out of buying it. Even if those things do work, they just take up space and they don't really make your life all that much easier.

It has been long long time ago. I bought a white smile product. But it made me disappointed. It doesn't give what I was expecting for. Since then, I've never bought products "As Seen on TV".

I bought the turbo cooker when it came Walmart. It worked, but not at a reduced rate of time like on the tv infomercial. You had to keep moving the rack of food to add more water and figure out when to tun the vents. On the upside, it's an awesomely useful huge spaghetti pot. And the rack is awesome for steaming tamales. I cook in it like a regular old pot!!
