What Makes a discussion attractive...especially on Mylot

I'm confused...When I post gud discussions I hardly see any responses.. I see lot of funny n weird topics on which people respond like any thing. I'm failed to understand how to draw concentration of others to my discussion... Some body help.... I feel so alone out there and feel frustrated...
