How many on mylot will claim to be a Christian? Plus why do you say you are a Christian?

I am a Christian. I was baptized into Christ on October 1, 1989 thereby establishing my relationship with God - a Father and child relationship. I am a member of the Church of Christ founded by Christ in Jerusalem on Pentecost day as shown in Acts Chapter 2. I follow the Christian religion the doctrines or teachings of which are set forth in the Holy Bible.

well .....dont u think my dear that religion now a days are creating a lot of problem u r muslim,christian,hindu,chinese,black,white ....have created a difffrence between all of us ? is that not so ?
even i have witnessed people asking the religion first then saying hello how r u ? ....
im not a christian .....but is this u think the right religion to follow ? ..i dont knew if its right or wronge ....but saying this really makes me a bit uncomfortable ....religion thing should not be talk or come between in any of the disscussion may be it just destroys good relations and friends what do u think ?

arsenjoaquin thank you for admitting to being a Christian. Hopefully you and others on here will be more open to Christ being first in there lives.

Hi i'm a christian. I backslide for a long while,being into the world doing unGodly things, but now i'm back trying to live my life right and serve God. Time is close for him to come back. So if you catch yourself lieing, lusting,hateing repent and ask God to forgive you for those sins and you will be forgiven. It's a struggle, but you have to keep on going and serving him. God knows i don't want to go to a burning hell so i try to live my life right now, I don't smoke anymore,drink anymore, curse anymore the day is coming when he returns to take his poeple with him. Satan doen't care for anyone and comes to steal, kill and destroy, when i was out in the world i was doing his work, but no more i'm living for a loving God tha gave his only begotton son to save us from a burning hell. It's time for people to wake up and realize he is real and he's alive and coming back and people need to be ready.

i am a christian too i am glad that you came back to goid because the bible says be not conforemed to this world by be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind the only way for your mind to be renewed is for us to completely surrender to god and his world and allow his to change us daily and asking him to kill our flesh so we can walk in his spirit daily i will lift you up in prayer at all times!!!!

I am here...from India. Was an atheist, came to faith in 2000. Backslided to agnosticism in 2001, came back to Jesus the same year. A Baptist...consider myself an evangelical.

Most every body would agree that they are Christians,when ever you ask them about their religions here on net,saying it is an easy things,acting like a christian is what i am saying,you dont even know who to trust, beacuse most wicked people has join themself to be call Christian,even when them are still cheating on you,are Christian not suppose to art like Christ himself?

i am a christian i am a believer int he lrod jesus christ and wht i claim to be one is this because the bible tells us to go into all the wordl and preach tell declare the gospel to everyone and since jsus is no longer on the earth so since i am his child i am hise hands feet and mouth on the earth!!!! so since jesus commands me too tell it then i do because i am him servant his child on the earth!!!

I am a Christian. I believe in God and his Son as my Savior.
Unfortunately, I can't make church every Sunday, but I do my best. And on the side I do community service and try to raise food for the poor. I try to live each day as a believer in the Word.

Congradulations, to everyone who took a stand for "Jesus Christ" our Lord and Savior. I'm not ashamed of Jesus. I'm not perfect but He loves me anyway and is so patient with me. I still have a lot to learn in my walk with the Lord but thank God I'm not where I use to be. Lift His name up high all you people...He is worthy!
