Would LOVE to meet other scrappers and share some ideas!

Hi there! I do mostly 12x12, though I have done other sizes in circle journals with online pals and I do a 5x7 album for my mom. The 5x7 is mostly doubles that I have that I really like. It was started when my oldest was 3 and is still being added to. If I were doing smaller pages i'd most likely stick to single photo layouts...I guess that's why I like the 12x12 better. I do all sizes of alubms it just depends on my fancy that day. I love these sites for inspiration www.mytlcusa.com www.pagemaps.com www.creativekeepsakes.com They all have wonderful layout galleries and the last two have sketched page maps. I am a total scraplifter, if I see a layout that someone else has done and I just love it. I will sketch it out in my notebook for use later on or will use it on my newest pages. I like the 12 x 12 best because there are more papers available in craft stores that cater to this size. Also I seem to fit more pictures and embellishments onto one page. I only make these albums for myself though. I have only made one 8 x 8 album, for a friend of mine, and it was about her cat. Each page had one or two small pictures of her cat, and some cat quotes, on pretty pink paper, with some cute cat toy embellishments. I also used those cute bubble sticky frames (kinda like the slide frames) in different colours and put tiny pictures of her cat inside. One page I wrote characteristics of siamese cats, and put them around the page. It turned out really cute, and she loved it.
