What item(s) do you collect and why?

On my main, Demonoid, I collect Barrrnacles, Tiny Plastic Barrrnacles, and Gnauga Hides. On ShadowFox, I collect those same three items along with Opera Masks, Boxes, Furry Green Turtles, and Furry Green Earmuffs.
I have been collecting barrrnacles for a long time...About two years I think. I cannot remember the original reason why i started collecting them, but I love them to death. A lot of people know that I love barrrnacles. :-)
As for the gnauga hides, I'm not really sure why I started collecting them but I still do!
The opera masks are because I love the movie The Phantom of the Opera.
The boxes are becuase I work at UPS and a few people in KoL have jokingly called me the 'parcel slinger'. So boxes seemed to fit me there.
I love turtles. They are awesome. But...these turtles just happen to be furry and green! Which is even more awesome. My favorite color is green so I immediately started collecting these when I found out about them.
I do have other items in my Display Case. Some are ones that I just want to have there, and others are gifts.

I used to collect any type of pixellated item the game offered. I had amassed around 20,000 green pixels, I think I was number 7 according to the wiki. However, I decided to quit KoL around September '06. When I did, I gave away all my pixels to OracleofDreams. I assume she sold them (20,000 at 100 meat each...yeah, I didn't like having meat anyways). Since I started playing again in January, I haven't started collecting anything.
I'm considering collecting purple pixel pies, since I have 250ish, and I love the alliteration :)

I really only collect stuff on my main, Tatsuya. I collect spooky mushrooms, cold wads, and oranges. I have over 100 cold wads and I hope it continues to grow. I was number 1 last time I checked, but I need to look some more. After I ascend, I will have to be a Seal Clubber again so I can get the pulverise skill. That way I don't have to buy the cold wads, I can make them myself.

I collect vintage cameras, I now have around 30 cameras, mostly Agfa. Agfa vintage cameras were pretty popular about 50 and 40 years ago and you can find them anywhere and for good prices too. I don't have much money so I have to keep myself to a tight budget. I think my oldest camera is from the 1930s.

Blood flowers.. because when I first saw them, I fell in love with them. Plus, obviously, The Cure. Some of you will know, some might night.
I also collect guano coffee cups, because when I first started playing, I noticed I had quite an abundance of guano, and so I started collecting it and recycling it into useful drinking cups.

i collect bricks, stuffed owls, stuffed astral badgers , and sometimes fake hands, i collect the owls to sell to my friend sman1985 , badgers for azuriel but he hasnt been on in ages and i have like 500 badgers collecting dust so i collect them now i guess, and bricks i just collect for the fun of it.
