Love Thy Neighbor (Yeah RIGHT!!!)

I feel your pain many of my neighbors are loud mouthed, obnoxious individuals. While others are very stuck up, although their is a few good ones that are nice. I have had confrentations with 3 neighbors. Both hysical and verbal, even involved the police a few times. They also like to throw trash on my lawn, which is another thing that gets me angry.

Well my bad neighbor is under me, It's a couple and you can tell whose playing what music... I can say they will play their music rather loud up until a certain time.. When they first moved over here 11 and 12 midnight, and me being someone that has to wake up at 4:30, It took 2 nights of that before I went downstair bammin on their door... I said what I had to say and waited for their response, no more issues..I was heated..You would think some people would have respect after certain hours for others...But they don't...

I am really lucky I live in a really nice neighbourhood , we have an unofficial neighbourhood watch , When my neighbours on both sides of me go on holiday I look out for their pets and close curtains etc at night , I would hate to have bad neighbours it must be really upsetting for you , good luck xx

I have a similar problem with a neighbor across the walk from me.The girl and her boyfriend will be outside fussing 2 and 3 in the morning.Then other people in her family gets involved and its so annoying that time of the night.They also scream and yell during the daytime sometimes,it is off da chain.Then in the Summer they be all in the way sitting around on the steps and blocking the hallway or all in ya face.Its so irritating.They speak and everything but they have alot of drama.I keep going my way.Then its nosy people around.I keep to myself and go about my business.I had one chic tell me i see all you do is leave and come.I said yes!! I dont have time.People speak and i keep going.Its a couple i will talk to but i keep that to a limit.I am going to move myself and i cant wait til that day come.

We have always lived in houses mind you. But as a kid there were neighborhood fights where all the neighbors got upset at each other. NOT fun when you were on the other side of it! :(( More recently before we moved. Our neighbors that rented the house next door used to have these parties LATE into the night playing Johnny Cash EVERY FREAKING NIGHT! It was INSANE! Finally I think someone called the police. THANK YOU! They shut up and no problems anymore. But still. My other neighbor I miss terrible. She was a great friend and well so nice I miss her all the time :(( I love good, hate bad neighbors period!

I know what you mean. I get tired of the kids. teenagers. I used to plant flowers in my yard the kids like to play in the street. and is aways running in my yard to get the ball. I work to hard in my yard. then the kids come by and pull my flowers up because I yell at them. then you get some guys tht want to blast music, the whole community cn here here, like 3 in the morning. all durig the day that have nothing better to do. I know you will be glad to move. I hate this street too.

Where I live because it is a big military town, people are always moving in and out, so people are not really here long enough for you to get to know them. That being said, I do have neighbors who live above us that constantly play their music loud to the poin where I can hear the lyrics.

Thankfully I don't have this problem. I live in a semi-detached home and the gentlemen on the other side of me is so quiet I hardly ever hear him. He's a really nice guy. Actually for the most part, the majority of people living on my street get along really well...usually in the summer we will have street barbecues and pretty much everyone comes. We're all close in age and the majority of us have children around the same ages too, so it's a great place to live.

I do get along with most of my neighbors. All except for one which is right next door to me. We have lived next to one another for eight yrs. now and she talks to no one. Her yougest son is the same age as mine and should be frineds but never lets him out of the house. They have a stupid little dog that we never see them talk for a walk. We live in a townhome and have balconies. She lives that dog out all the time to bark at anything that moves. She's even had him out as late as 2am and as early as 5am. That darn dog barks for hours on end ,we've called the pollice a few times but nothing really gets done.

Not all of my neighbors are that great. There's this one neighbor who tends to make everybody else's lives complicated. He would park his car in front of somebody else's driveway. Early in the morning, he would let his dog loose and doesn't clean up his dog's crap. It can get irritating especially if you're in a hurry and you see his dog poop in front of your gate and you just don't have any time to clean it up. He is just so inconsiderate. He does that everything, and not once did he clean after his dog. The worst he did was to put his trash in front of our house. He thought nobody saw him do it, but a passerby told my dad about it. We had to report him to the village authorities. They took the necessary actions, and he was fined for it. Another complaint from any of his neighbors would warrant a criminal case against him, supported by the village authorities. Well not all of my neighbors are like this. The rest are wonderful, and during certain events, we usually have a small get together. I guess not all neighbors are bad.

Well,I think that you were absolutely right in your act.I never seemed to have got such a neighbour.But under normal conditions,"LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR".

i've been in this neighborhood for more than 20 years. and yet, i really am not familiar with their names, just faced. the reason? all they love to do is start gossips about people around. and i am not up for it. so, all i do is go out and just give them a smile when passing them and i go straight out of the neighborhood. as for you, i am sorry to hear about the neighbors you've got. you have loud and irritating neighbors there. have you thought of relocating or no? well, the good thing is, you do call the cops. i hope they will one day slow down with their noisy habits and give you a better day.

Sound like simply awful neighbors. I am fortunate to have one good neighbor next door - the rest of my neighbors haven't said so much as boo to me in the nine years I have lived here and they say small towns are friendly - bah!

It depends on my neighbour's behaviour with me. If I find a caring neighbour, with a smile on their face, whenever we meet, then surely I will be drawn close to them. Then on getting a chance or purpose, I would hang out with them, or pass my time with them. Now if I get a neighbour, making a serious and sullen face at me, whenever we confront, then ofcourse I will not have friendly feelings towards them. Then I will not feel comfortable to be with them. Thus it's totally a factor of behaviour, thta makes me mix my neighbours.

When I was in high school i fell inlove with my neighbor who is already married. We are secretly seeing each other.

I have a strange neighbour, he used to talk to himself and sometime he stared me without any particular reason. After several weeks, we get along quite well. I found that he cant stand when people park their cars improperly but never disturb anybody, he is a religous man, and respect his neighbours.

I don't like my neighbors either. Some of them act like it's four pm when it's 4 am--shouting to each other, being noisy in the parking lot, etc. Others don't clean up after their dogs, leave their garbage outside their door, and are just generally pigs. The management office has responded to some of this, but still. Sounds like your situation is much worse, though.
