I'll tell the truth with precautions. My friends like me for being sincere so I have to be like this. Opposite opinions won't break a true friendship.

Me and my friends are very strong people and are individuals in every right, so we agree on some matters and totally disagree on other, but we respect each others individuality. There is no question of being anyone hurt as everyone has a right to keep his or her opinion.

I would never lie to stand up for what I believe in. I would share my opinion and make it clear that I'm not going to change my mind. We both have the right to believe what we want to believe.

I wouldn't lie , I would tell the truth . My friends all know that I am a firm believer that everyone has a difference of opinion in what they like and what they don't like and I always make it clear that just cause I don't like something doesn't mean much because I know there is someone who will love it as much as they do . I always say I don't care for it but if you like it then you should keep it .
We are all different and I find this a good thing as the world would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things .

I'd find a way to tell the truth. A best friend is just that, someone you can be totally honest with and expect them to be totally honest with you.
If you lie to make your friend feel better and it doesn't work and he finds out you lied, that is going to hurt far, far more than telling the truth would have.
