Jesus wa a middleeastern Jew, which makes him Hebrew. Where is the arguement, or are there still fools who think he was a blonde haired blueeyed wimp like all those styalized pictures in churches show him. He was a carpenter, so he was a big man, not a wimp. he had dark, probably curly, hair and dark brown eyes.

I believe you're right in your description. His status as a carpenter would also have gotten him better nutrition and the work he did physically would have added to his size. And, if he didn't have dark eyes, he would have suffered quite a bit in the sun. There were no sunglasses during those days.

I was really surprised to find out that the blondey Jesus we grew up looking at in church stemmed from the European conversion, Christianity trying to appeal to the fair warrior races like the Saxons, the Vikings, etc. They created all this artwork with Christ as a suffering hero who sacrificed himself, but in order for the culture to believe, they had to identify with the Christ Character.
Funny how some lies stick.

Wow, you are going to get a lot of different answers for this one! Personally, I think he was Middle Eastern but I have come across some really strong arguements that he was black but when you really get into the nitty gritty of things with people, they can't back up any of their well formed but empty statements.
Jesus' mother, Mary, was born in Galilee and was Jewish, since the bible says that she became pregnant with the son of god, that would mean that he was 100% Jewish because Joseph wasn't involved in the conception. Jesus is often depicted as a tall man with long hair and dark (Middle Eastern) skin but they are basing most of that on what people wrote about him or what their own vision of him was.

Jesus's physical race was, as said by a previous Mylotian, middleastern Jewish. I believe he was probably pretty average looking for the region, maybe slightly better.

Well he was not white and if he was of the seed of david he had a good tan also alot of people would be surpried to find out that job was of asian descent god is one of a kind race nondiscriminating god .Which make hitler hating Jews all the more ironic as he was Jewish himself talk about a Freudian moment mike
