That's just scary. :)
I feel sorry for Britney. Yes, she's definitely not the brightest bulb in the package and God knows how screwed up her kids are going to be with her and K-Fed for parents. But I do think it must be hard for her to see all the negative publicity around her, especially since she doesn't have the sense God gave a light pole. Granted, she's caused a lot of it. I just hope she's able to learn things from it -- like, wearing underwear is A Good Thing (tm), as Martha would say. :P

Yes a woman at the salon she visited refused to shave her head after she asked, so she did it herself. They are selling her shaven locks on ebay and apparently are donating a portion of the sale to Britney Spears' own foundation. I wonder just how much they will donate. Part of me says they shouldn't be exploiting Britney's pain at all, and if they insist, then donate ALL of the profit from her hair to her foundation. Another part of me says more power to them.

She's obviously going through a difficult time in her life. I feel bad for her little boys, even though they're really too young to remember this time. Britney's looking for attention and since there are other young 'hotties' who go around showing their goodies to the world, she needed to shock the public another way. She needs some sort of intervention and counseling to help her before she goes way of Anna Nicole.

I think Perez Hilton and other celebrity hounds/paparazzi are partly to blame for Britney's wild and erratic behavior. She grew up in the limelight and earned millions and millions of dollars at a very young age. She didn't get a chance to experience what a normal 20-21 year old does and she missed out on a lot of experiences and life lessons. Now she is being criticized and scrutinized for everything she does, from her parenting abilities to her clubgoing. Her latest buzz-cut incident is probably a way of "starting over" and a futile attempt to escape. She needs help and fast or she will become another Anna Nicole.

you get bragging rights for as long as anyone recalls this head shaving incident.
the picture is funny, but i am always torn on celebrities. they know that pursuing a career in singing/acting will probably garner all that media focus. i mean, if they were really interested in being serious singers or actors, couldnt they also pursue a career on broadway or something with less media coverage?
but at the same time i feel bad for them; most of them have been literally raised in the business and have no real-life skills. i doubt britney knows how to balance a checkbook. or even write a check.
