I am reading the classic "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" right now and finding it very interesting. It is about an Irish family struggling to survive in Brooklyn. The main character, Francie, is a young girl, but I think this story would interest almost everyone who reads it.

Hi there! I'm more a non-fiction reader myself, here are 5 books I'd recommend: Fiction: - The Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown) - I've read it twice! Not bad for a 600-page book! - Great Expectations (Charles Dickens) Non-Fiction: - Good to Great (Jim Collins) - a business book about how "ordinary" companies, through a number of principled actions, became great ones - Knight's Cross: A Life of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel (David Fraser) - a biography of the famed Desert Fox, one of the great military commanders of World War 2 - Secrets of the Code (Edited by Dan Burstein) - a book which explores the many themes thrown up by The Da Vinci Code. Hope this helps! Cheers! Andre www.theultimatesuccessmanual.com
