Has anyone here been to Rarotonga?

Some of my family and myself have decided that this year we will go to Rarotonga for a holiday. I have never been there before so I would like to know from people who have been there what they enjoyed most about their holiday there and what are the best things to do there etc. I am just looking forward to relaxing by the water and hanging out at the bar... but I know there must be some awesome things to do there... any ideas?
