I'm a dog person. Mainly because I am allergic to cats, but still. I have had 4 dogs in my 35 years. Three little dogs (poodle mutt, terrier mutt, terrier-poodle) and one medium sized dog, a chow chow.
I like cats, except for the sneezing issue. And they have their merits I suppose, but I think I'd still choose a dog over a cat. And my vet says my dog is very "cat like."Which would you choose? Dog or Cat?

Cats, cats and cats, all the way. :)
I love dogs, but they're too high-maintenence, and not as cuddly. Having a dog is like having a child. Having a cat is like having a very intelligent best friend with whom you can cuddle. Trying to cuddle a dog just doesn't work unless it's a tiny rat dog. :P
Besides, I can go out and leave the cats at home and know they'll be OK and my house will be OK. and if I get back late and miss feeding them dinner, they'll be OK and the rodent population will have decreased. ;)

They didn't steal it. They just took it and hid it from me. Again, a sign of superior intelligence. Whereas a dog might play with it and then forget about it, a cat knows what the remote's function is, and they keep it so they can watch TV while I'm out. :
