Do you still wear a watch?

With everyone using things like cell phones, blackberry's, PDA's and everything in between, I read where watches are becoming a thing of the past. Do you still wear a watch (assuming you ever did) or have you given it up in favor of your cell phone or other device?

I love watches and collect them. However, since I no longer work a 40-hour job, time here on Planet Xphile777 just doesn't exist anymore, and my days of wearing watches is over. I have about 6 that I used to wear and they all need batteries.
Nowadays I use the clock in my car and on my cell phone if I have to keep up with the time. Otherwise, I see it on my computer, microwave, cable box, DVR, wall clocks, and phones. I hate Daylights Savings Time because I have to reset all those clocks. :P

It's actually interesting that you asked this question. It actually got me thinking. When I was growing up, I have always worn a watch. When I was in college, I cannot imagine living without a watch.
However four years ago, I broke my current watch and never got around to replacing it. As a temporary replacement, I relied on my cellphone to give me the time. If i'm at work or at my home office, I have the computer to tell me the time. If I'm in the kitchen, I have the oven that tells the time.
I've realized, after giving it a few moments of thought, that if your sole purpose of wearing a watch is in order to know the time, then I don't think they are that necessary. But I'm sure they have other purposes, like as an accessory or as a status symbol. But then that is now a different story.

Oh I do not want to feel odd now. I hope others also still do. I wear a watch and if I do not have one on then I am missing it. Please tell me I am not the only strange person here. Its a small gold watch.

I still wear a watch every day and feel lost without it. My favorite brand of watches is Fossil. I actually feel naked without it. I have a cell phone, but never check it for the time, it seems so cumbersome to do so. Am I a dinosaur, or what?

I've given up on watches and now use my cell phone. The reason for this is two fold. The first reason I stopped wearing a watch is because I hated getting a watch tan line in the summer. Sure, it was an easy way to check my tan, but it also looked funny when I wanted to wear a bracelet instead. Another reason I stopped wearing watches is because I went through them so quickly. I would wear them until they fell apart or until I would forget I had it on and then wear it in the shower by mistake. When I realized my cell phone had a clock on it, I was thrilled.
