Have you made friends on mylot?

I have a list of friends, as I am sure we all have. But I wouldn't call them all PERSONAL friends. I have a few that I really believe I have something in common with and I really respect their advice and opinions. There are others I am still trying to get to know, but I wouldn't say everyone on my "friends" list is really someone I would yet call a friend.

Oh yes, I've definitely met some really wonderful people who I would consider as true friends on here. One in particular I go to anytime I need to vent about something that's going on on the site, that I know my outside friends won't understand, lol! I don't know what I'd do without her, because sometimes something really gets me down and I don't want to post about it on the site, so knowing that I have her to go to really helps me out. Also, when i was feeling really down awhile back I posted some topics and had people that I never even knew cared writing me the best, sweetest, most caring replies. That was my favorite day here on the site. I really have felt so much more at home here since then, and I've made more friends, too! ^_^

Joey, everywhere I go I make friends. It is just who I am. I have been on many writing sites and I run my own newsletter as well and I have over 2,300 members and 404 writers at present. It is pretty cool. I made lots of friends on it.

Yes - glad to say I have made very many friends. I always find it very uplifting to find that people are so simlar all over the world. We may speak different languages, or live on opposite sides of the world, but basically we are all human beings, and share more than we differ. Have a good day!

I'm still sorta new here, but I find myself starting to recognize and have good feelings for several myloters. I think that as I comment and post and respond to my new friends here that I'll become more comfortable and become more like friends over time.

just like you, i did find friends here. amazing site, right? i have more than 200 on my list (fairly because i had been here for 6 months already) but only like 20 of them i really consider "friends" since these people really gets me going. their discussions, their comments, their responses are the ones that keep me interested in considering them as my friends here. not to include the exchange of private messages as well. i do check some of my favorite friends' pages, too. like see their new discussions and try to respond to some of them. getting excited on their comments as well. it's okey if we disagree on some matters. that's just natural. it's just like i love the flow of conversations i get with these people. and oh, by the way, you are one of the few mylot friends i consider "good friends". thanks!

That's one of the things I love about this site, you can make friends from all around the world, kinda like electronic pen pals. I have got a real close group of friends who I message and like you said as soon as they've started a discussion I will go and check it out. It's a great community and I only have a very small number of friends I see,and it's great having friends online too, knowing that if I have any problems, worries or want to chat there's always someone there for me on this site!

Yes I have and a few of us have exchanged E-Mail addresses and even Phone Numbers. We speak on Messenger and it is great to know they are there. I love all of them they are all so special as we are all there for one another when we need each other. The trust is there and it is a nice feeling to know you can come on here and chat with them.

Yeah I have made quite a few friends in here on mylot. That is why I think it is such a neat place.

I have a few friends i hold dear on mylot. If i didnt have them, i wouldn't stay here. Joey you are one of my best. I always go to your discussions and a few others first thing as soon as i get on. Then i go on to my other friend who are great too. But i am always interested in my top friends first for they are the ones who stick with me also.

On my list of friends, there are some that I have a closer connection with than others, but only a couple would I class as personal friends. Those are the ones that I know from other forums, pre our days here at myLot and so we have other things in common besides myLot. I think that you learn to make friends through the discussions and if there is any quality in the discussion, then you can say what you think, without offending anyone that is. And when the author of the discussion reads your response, they can get an idea of the type of person that you are. There are some people who respond to all of my discussions, just as I do theirs and we do have a lot in common, which means there is a connection there. One way to make friends or learn who you have some sort of rapport with is to respond to the discussions started by your friends. Some you will find easier than others of course, but I have found that the friends I have made here on myLot are very varied, in age, culture and nationality but we still have things in common. Try it and see how you go, but do not expect that things will happen overnight as it does take some time to build up a good friendship. Everyone has their own ideas of course, but I am one of those who actually prefers to keep the number of friends I have here down to a manageable number. I know that some people have literally hundreds of friends, and that is their choice, but for me I prefer to look after a smaller number. By that I mean if I had a couple of hundred friends it would take me several days to get through them all, responding to just one discussions for each of them. However with the number of friends I do have now I can sometimes respond to all of them in the one day. It is a personal choice thing and everyone has to make that decision for themself of course.

I haven't really made any friends but i certainly would like to! Hopefully i will make some in the future. :]

yes i likes to make friends around the world, i made lots of friends on mylot , many of them are from different countries, its nice to keep in touch with them

Hi there again.. I have myLot friends but i mentioned in my response 2 ur discussion titled 'Friends Issues' three steps and the first one was 2 come up with a definition of a 'True Friend' or let me say a 'friend' and i think that would help a lot in this regard. As far as myLot is concerned i met a couple of interesting people over here, Hopefully that 'friendship' will one day come out 2 be a real one. Nice 2 meet both of you

i made lost of friends on my lots.all most all new but few are oid too.
