hydro powered car

do you believe in hydro powered cars?? is this real? has anyone developed the technology?

I read just yesterday (Insig magazine March 2007)that BMW converted 100 of their 7-series to hydrogen, fitted with a special container in the boot. The car can run on petrol and hydrogen alternatively. The tank takes 7.8kg hydrogen, stored at -253 degrees Celsius. Apparently you will get about about 200km's per tank.
