Always a duvet because it's easy to change and it's more warmer and comfortable. It is also easier to make of a morning. I never have blankets on my bed because I am warm enough plus they make me itch really bad, I can't wear or have wool anywhere near me. I think my tog rating is 8 or 10. I central heat literally and my body always keeps a high temperature winter or summer so I rarely have anything else but a duvet on my bed.

Chriss, I don't even want to go there! There is nothing but a huge pile of Tupperware on my bed. Of course it is on top of the comforter but it has taken over the bed until I can get it packed and delivered. Now you've made me fell guilty and I know that I need to go and get busy~Donna

if duvet is a fancy word for a comforter, I got one of those on the bed along with some sheets (that probably need washing)

On my bed I have a 13 Tog duvet it has a minky coloured quilt cover .. a crisp white Egyptian cotton sheet to lay on .. a 'Cushtie' at the bottom of the bed to keep my feet nice and warm throughout the night .. a memory foam pillow with white Egyptian pillowcase then I have a Tempur mattress overlay to ease my sore joints .. that's on top of a feather overlay and then the mattress ... my bed is sooooo comfortable ..

I have a duvet on our bed with a rating of 13.5 tog, which i'll snuggle under when its cold.
During the summer months I will end out kicking the duvet off because it is too hot and just put a sheet over us. Normally my arms and legs will be dangling out the sheet and my middle covered for a bit a security and to help me feel cooler when its hot.

I have 300 thread count sheets, very soft! For a blanket in the winter we sleep under a big comforter or a heavy quilt. In the summer we usually use a down feather blanket. Always we have lots, and lots of pillows!

I have two sheets and a light bedspread. I find the duvets too warm so I have a couple of light throws at the end of the bed. If it gets too cold during the night I just reach for these and spread them on the bed.

Right now I have five pillows with white linen and blue cotton floral pillowcases. (I read in bed a lot and like a lot of pillows propped up. There is a set of blue floral cotton sheets, a Laura Ashley quilt and a down comforter which currently does not have a duvet cover because I was too lazy to pull one out of the linen closet. LOL

Well, I have several blankets that I pile on me when it gets really cold. My favorite (for looks) is one with wolves all over it, that my then best friend bought for me for either a birthday or Christmas. But my favorite one to keep warm with is the comforter that my family got me a couple years ago. I was never as warm in the winter as I am now, lol! I also have a lot of junk on the side of my bed that's by the wall, because i don't sleep on that side. I have some of my stuffed animals there, and some boxes and clothing. I used to keep a radio on my bed at all times, too, but i don't have a working one that's small enough now to do that anymore.
