Have you considered adoption? Have you adopted a child? Are you adopted?
Would you be more inclined to adopt an American child or one from another country?
I want to adopt a child. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with adoption and how it all works?
I dont have Angelina Jolie money to go buy myself a couple of kids.

I am personally adopted myself and it is something I think God for as often as I can. I have been so blessed to have the family that I do. I can't imagine being anywhere else or growing up anywhere else around any different people.
I applaud you for being interested in adopting a child. From talking to my parents, it's not too difficult a process. I don't think it matters what country you adopt a child from. Either way, you're still giving a child an opportunity to have a life that he/she might not have otherwise.

I would love to adopt. I am going to have a few of my own first, then adopt. My aunt has adopted 14 children. She started out by being a foster parent and ended up adopting them all. I personally would like to adopt a child from the U.S.

I love to adopt a child. I checked into it years ago and the waiting list is so long. I do fing it hard to believe with all the kids out there that need homes. I never understood by the movie stars are adopting kids fromm other countries. We have so many kids here in the u.s. that would love to live with movie star parents.I guess it is easier to get them there. I ran into a woman that i went to school with as a girl and she adopted a child from india five years ago. it took 9 months from the day the child was born and it cost 10,000.00 for the paperwork/getting the child here. The cost maybe be higher now I do not know but if you are interested I could give your email to her so she can tell you about it. let me know..

yes i would, there is too many kids out there who doesnt have a parent, so i think it is a great idea to adopt, i would do it all over the world if i have the fund, but may start out here in states first, also i would adopt few animals too.

i would adopt a baby but not a grown child as i would like to bring the baby up as my own and teach the baby wrong from right and all other things to teach children like reading and writing where as a grown child will know that and also may not have the respect for you as a baby would, if i have mad any sense lol

I understand completely. Some older children are set in their ways, may not be as comfortable in your home/able to follow your rules.
