I'm tired of the usual pancakes, bread and cereals. I'm running out of ideas to serve for breakfast. I need something healthy and delicious for my kids' palette. Please share some recipes or ideas.

You could go Filipino and serve fried (or plain, if you want it healthier) rice with fried egg and some meat (tapa, longganisa come to mind but they are not too healthy). Adobo is a good choice. With some fruit for desert and maybe juice. Or if you prefer Chinese, you can serve congee. It's just like cooking lugaw (rice porridge) except that instead of plain water, you put in bits of meat or chicken or fish flakes. You can add an egg if you want. Or, sometimes, if we're really in a hurry, we just heat up leftovers from dinner and some rice. Voila! Instant heavy breakfast! :)

Thanks! I would try the congees. My kids are not yet so fond of eating rice. But my husband and I really like fried rice.
