how much money is exactly needed to survive?????

I happen to ask this questions myself quite a few times, is there any end ....due to ever increasing technology n new gadgets we have lost a track of how much money is needed ...how much ever we earn it seems less ....because we want to acquire the cool gadget that we saw yesterday...
when is this lust going to stop god knows...we seem to have lost control over ourself.....we seem to have become people with unsatiated demands......

10% for Tithe, 10% savings, 10% clothing, 50% for food, 20% for Utility. Save some, spent some. It all depends on the lifestyle you choose. If you earn more, you have some extra for pleasure. If your income goes down - you have to make budget and reduce expenses. I have experience having to live a very frugal life and also some years of prosperity, where I can hire two servants or three. Now I have to make a lot of adjustment.

The amount of money needed to survive depends on where you live, etc.
All you NEED to survive is food, shelter and clothing. So you have to be able to afford a place to live, some clothes on your back, and food to nourish you. EVERYTHING else in our lives is extra. Including being on the internet!
