Home grown vegies taste nice and fresh.Do you have a vegetable garden? What type of vegetables do you grow?

I love my veggie garden it saves alot of money and it tastes so much better. I grow corn, potatoes, green beans, squash, asparagus, tomato's(my fav), tried lettuce with no success, cabbage sometimes, cauliflower. sometimes more then that.

I would have to say tomatoes would be my favorite too. Have you ever tried growing leaf lettuce?

I have grown oakleaf lettuce in the past which is a leaf lettuce. Not sure if you have those in the usa,i`m in australia. hope you have a wonderful vegie garden this coming season and success with leaf lettuce.

Yes I agree home grown vegies are tastee. I grow tomatoes, cucumber, squash and peppers.

yeah i think the biggest advantage of home garden is less use of pesticides, so they not only taste fresh and nice, but are good for health also, my father-in-law maintains vegetable garden, the veg are-spinanch, coriander, garlic, onion, turnip, radish, mustard, tomatoes, and for summer he has planted lady's finger, gourd

That is so true, that growing your own vegies is good for your health. Also keeping the use of pesticides to a minimum is good.
