Is there something better than ebay?

I have tons of things to sell, three years of crap! I've been told that craigslist might be a better way to start. What do you think? Is there another website besides ebay that doesn't charge so much, or is it worth it?
How does it work, can i use my own pics,ect.

I found a new site at baymore.com Easy to understand and is free for now.
