What is the best religion?

Do you think that being christian is the best or that Allah is the only god and Mohamed is his prophet. or maybe you belive in more then one god? Who can say which religion or god is the best? that if you belive in anything at all? Can you answer that question?

I don't think that there is any best religon. Everybody's religion is special to them in their own way. Each person has a different outlook on life and if they feel their religion is the best than that is all that truly matters.

This is my belief. I am talking only for myself. This is the Christian beleif. Man has sinned and fall short for the glory of God. For us to be right with God we must solve the sinned problem. On our own effort and on our own good deeds we still fall short. God solve that problem for us. By sending His only Son to die on the cross to take away the sins of the world. And only Jesus could do that because He is God made flesh without sin and found to be blameless. Through Christ we are forgiven and made heirs to the glory of God. And since we are forgiven we are renew. And the evidence of the renewal is our good deeds towards mankind althouht we are far from perfect. We still sin sometimes but not deliberately.
Is there any other belief that is similar? Almight God willing to sacrifice His only Son who He love for sinners like us. Jesus Christ willingly sacrificing Himself so we coud be saved. Is there any other love greater than this?
For me the answer is ovious what I beleive is best. How about you? What is the best for you?

Well what would be best for one person would not be best overall, that is to say , to ask which is the best implies some objective standard, some criteria against which it may be judged but best for me is subjective and not an interesting question

If you ask me which religion is the best, I will say that non of any religion is the best. Because God sent His prophets in the moment His people need to be recalled about the presence of God, when human done too much sins.
So basically every religion sourced from one God. also Islam and Christian are "nephew" religion. Because they both came from the same Abraham or Ibrahim the moslem called.

well that is exactly the point i was trying to make (or at least one of them). i belive that there is only one god and that he has a number of prophets that suited a specific kind of people. basicaly one god and a number of religions. and it is true what you said about islam and christianity. i mean come one; the old testiment is the same for both religions.

I don't think there is such thing like the best religion. It would be absurd because if everyone knew what the best religion is, then everyone will follow that religion.
It depends on the individual and which religion suits him. Nobody can force him to just go into a religion. He needs to make up his mind on his own and see which religion is he most comfortable with.
And there is only one God.

Ah, I see your point. Not everybody believes that there is a God. Some people don't believe in religion. And some people just like to make trouble and create wars. It's just too bad then if we still have people like that.

yes but you see. that is the really big question. if there actually were a perfect religion would everybody follow it and by this bring peace on earth? or is it in the human nature to quarrell and fight and they just find in religion a strong enough reason to start a war like has happened since the begening of man?

is it? maybe this is just the way of life. maybe we have not come so far yet to evolve so far as the rule of the alpha male to be gone. maybe we still have some sort of a "survival of the fitest". or maybe we don't need it. it;s just something we got in our genes. and about not all the people beliving in god: think of it this way; religion is a form of philosophy. and if it is good, i don't see why anybody not following it. whe it comes to it, you don't have to be a beliver to do a good deed, or just be kind.

The best religion is the religion you follow. It doesn't matter if you are Muslim,Jewish, Hindu, or Christian, just as long as your religion inhances your life and gives you hope.

Well it depends on how you were raised. People have diffrent opinons on who is god, and who is jesus, etc. Everyone is entitled to their own religion, but I am christian. And I believe what is in the bible. But that's me, other's believe what they want to.

cause if you say that you are ok with everybody having their own religion because it might be better for them i belive what you are actually sayig is that you are not that sure about what religion is the true one. and if so how can you can call your self a true beliver? (not making a statement, just posing a posibilty)

well i have replied to discussion but have not got any response, you can find it in the later pages, i say no religion is greater than other, its we who created the religion and as far as i know all the religions were made for the betterment of humanity, its a different point now that in the name of religion some set of people are misusing it to kill people, its the humanity which matters and not the religion.......

My religion is the best thing...FOR ME.and only for me.I developed my only beleive in system based on others.I won't stay and explain because i don;t agree that you need to know nor will i try to "seduce" you in it.It's a private matter for me.Don't think that religions can have one that is the best.It's the same thing it's just in other "colours" (ideas,concepts,etc.)

when you break it all down, we all worship the same old man
(the creator) no matter what name you go buy... I believe mostly into Islam. I am not arabic... I am German, Irish, Scotish, Dutch, and Cherokee... If you look at pretty much all of the religions are based on good things... unless you are into satanic crap.

yes. exactly. i for one can say i don't belive in any specific religion. i was baptised as a christian orthodox, but i belive mode in god itself than in any of the existing religions. and i will probably stick to this until someonewill come up with a global religion if i may call it that

As for me I thing muslim's goran is perfect in anyway . A complete guide line wich show how to knock the heaven door . But some people may think they live in prison , not living in guide line . Since you mention talk freely and no fight , I really love that .
