Have you ever been scammed on the computer or did you catch the scammer before it was too late?

I have been scammed..but it only took that one event for me to think twice and now I don't take any chances..I know I may be missing out on something good but it's to risky to try out what sounds OK..I do know if it sounds to good to be true..it is...

Someone tried to scam me once with a loan saying send a downpayment and we'll send the loan, So I sent them an email asking them who they were trying to scam, with a reply and all kind of excuses, if I knew where to report him I would have.

exactly, never believe your getting something for nothing, if it seems to good to be true it probably is.

I think everyone has been scammed to some extent, even if it is just a free product that you never got.

I have plenty of times, but the most recent one was Drive4free.com. There has been plenty of times where I was suppose to recieve something free, but I had to sign up for something else. There was also another time I was suppose to get a camera, but never recieved it. It is actually pretty easy to spot a scam, you just need to know what to look for, but every once in awhile someone catches me. LOL!!
