if you don't know Manny Pacquiao, well let me tell you, hes a BOXER... as in he BOxes people for a sport... There are rumors that he's planning on running for President! Whew!!! That's a big responsibility! I don't even know if he graduated High School... geee... but if ever he's gonna run, there is a chance that he will win, after all he is POPULAR and may i add, some Filipinos DON'T vote wisely -- they only vote for the sake of just voting or they vote for money.. (no offense please, this IS a fact).. I hope Filipinos will remember what happend to Ex-President Joseph Ejercito Estrada, He is the very first president of the Philippines to be impeached! Presidents are suppose to be role models, they represent Filipinos... I don't even know how Ex-President Joseph Ejercito won.. By the way, for those of you who do not know Ex-President Joseph Ejercito, he was an ACTOR, he acts... well at least he had a little years in college but he dropped out of college.. imagine that, a president who was not able to finish college... I wonder what those voters of him thought when they voted... I am sorry for those who are offended, but i believe we have freedom to express our thoughts..

Manny is running for congress not for president. I'm a filipino, and I thank him for bringing glory to our country by winning his boxing matches. However, I am really disappointed that he decided run for congress in his district. This is a position that I think, he doesn't even know how it works. He just keeps on saying that he wanted to help the poor people. I have nothing against helping poor people. But the important question is, HOW is he going to do that? Is he going to line them up and give them money right out? What are his plans to alleviate poverty? He was asked what is his platform. Of course he conveniently said that they are still working on it. I don't think he has seriouly thought about this. I ever he wins a seat in congress it just proves that Philippine politics is just a big popularity contest.
