Will you buy a piglet as a pet?

It the year of the Pig. Many Taiwanese are buying piglets for a pet. One day they will grow up and become big. I hope they do not throw them out of the house. Big pig can be made into a mother - a gilt or a sow.

I hope these people buting pigs realize just how quickly these animals grow. The get very big very quick!

No way. Why get a pig when you can have a cat or a dog. These are much better pets.

I don't really like pigs although they're supposed to be very intelligent animals. I prefer mine in the form of bacon or sausages, I'm afraid.

I've heard good things about pigs as pets, apparently you can house train them like a cat or dog and they are intelligent. If I had room I'd probably consider getting one.
