My aunt is the one who got me into scrapbooking, and my cousin really likes making computer edited photos and computer-scrapbook pages, but I'm the only one that consistently scrapbooks. I actually like it that way :) When people have an idea, they come join me and work on mine with me. Otherwise, they like to look at what I've done and it's fun to know that not everyone is creative as I can be :)

My mom scrapbooks, in fact she is the one who introduced me to it. I have a monthly group that gets together and scrapbooks one Sunday a month. I like that a lot because I like the social time, but I also like getting ideas from everyone.

I saw a poster locally for a Creative Memories workshop, and I went. That was five years ago. The original place we met is no longer available, but we found another place - we have all become friends, and we like our time together too much to let it go!

how did you meet all the people who get together to scrapbook? I have really nobody I know who scrapbooks, but I would love to meet some! I find I do more pages, when I'm around others who enjoy the hobby too.

i tried to get my mom into scrapbooking, but everytime I try to get together with her to do it...she never wants to, or she's not in the mood. She started an album on her dog, but she got about ten pages done, and hasn't done a page since last spring! I work better when I'm with other people, but I don't know anyone else who likes to!

I have no one to scrap book with. We dont' even have a scrapbooking store. I usually spend my time online with online friends having online crops. And we all meet once a year in a selected city, not mine of course as I have no scrapbook store to have a weekend crop. This year we're going in June. I'm so excited! I wish that there was a feature here where we could host a crop online...that would be neat! I'd love to see your pages!

I used to. My sister introduced me to scrapbooking when my son was just a few months old and I was suffering from post partum depression. It really helped me to have something that was for me and not about being a mom. My sister and I really bonded over scrapbooking. We got together every Tues night with our other friend and carried this tradition for years. My sister and I have both made part time jobs with scrapbooking, working for magazines and product manufacturers. Sadly, she moved to the complete other side of the country shortly after we both had sons just a few days apart. Then out other friend moved as well. I hope that I can find the companionship of scrapping with others again in the future.

I have a few close cousins who scrapbook, they got me into it. I also do our "Scrap-n-Chat" at church, so I never have to scrap alone!
