We see every guy or company coming up with a new flavour , so how do you rate which is the best flavour as regards a common PC

I will rate Ubuntu, an open source Linux-based OS as the best from Linux. It's almost as good as Windows, and what more! It can be downloaded straight from the internet!!

But how do rate it to Fedora Core 6 or Suse Linux 10.1, Further all Linux flavours can be freely downloaded from the net, so what about Ubuntu thats makes it the best linux flavour.

ubuntu is much more similar to windows, and far outstrips fedora (i have never used suse, so no idea) in every aspect. it is not gaining popularity at an astronomical rate for nothing

I have used redhat Linux and find it very good. So I guess it is the best and stable linux distribution available.

I agree RedHat is certainly a stable release but dont you think its high time you migrate to next release of the same, Fedora. And have you tried out Fedora Core 6 or Suse 10.1 or Ubuntu or Mandriva.
