why do indian cinema lack original ideas ....we seems to see the same tried formula again n again.....if a prsn tries to do something it is nt financial viable....people too seem to like the same concept again n again....

Hmm i think things r changing. Now v can c directors getting innovative. Movies like black, and water are our original concepts and are all wonderful movies. Remember any new thing is being critisized in India.
We have a tendancy of following the same concept again and again and only gutsy directors will be able to make something out of the box.
In west people have liberty to produce anything and thus they make better movies than us.
But lets hope things will get better in the upcoming years.

Rightly said Tutul, we should be atleast happy that there are few sensible directors who are out of the crowd and are trying to make sensible cinema ....but the number are far too few....but still we can see a ray of hope....

But dont you think it is high time that we churn out things that are only original.........we are sitting on an ocean of huge literature reserve.....we have huge collection of original stories .....why do we always try to ignore them...
