No, I've never done it, and I'm pretty certain I never will. I believe there are some successful cases of couples that met through these websites, but I'm sure they're rare. If you're a shy person and want to meet people online, the best thing to do is to meet them somewhere else, like here for example. Those websites are totally "made", and sound a little depressing and corny to me.

Most online dating sites offer a plethora of tips, articles, advice, and suggestions to maximize your online dating experience. Check the menu options at the bottom or side of the dating site homepage for a section that says "dating articles" or "advice and tips".

my friend did. its called mate1. where you can customize your search there, too. i know of this because i met his bf online as well. he's an expat pinoy in california.

i join on a free romanian dating site NEOGEN and i meet some girls until i meet the one..and stik togheter for 2 Yers and counting...i thing dating site is something good for the people wen dont have much free time to hangover the club's or other regular meeting place ..... but in the proces of online dating someting is lost.....
