Should i buy intel or AMD?

buy the intel dual core which is latest.

AMD is really cost-effective, when compared to every Intel counter-part. But I opted for Intel because, at the moment, Intel Core2Duo surpasses the AMD AM2 Duals. The most significant for was the L2 Cache.

currently im using 3gb intel processor..lately im using AMD duron but im not satisfy..now they are all broken..AMD lifespan of AMD are to low than intel processor..we all knows that AMD processor are good at gaming computers..thats true..but the things is intel takes too long lifespan..

I vote for AMD. I have always preferred their products, they have better customer service, and really, they just design a better product. They have stayed small, because Intel has sold out, as far as I am concerned. You are paying for their marketing budget, while they use cheaper, lower quality components. Go for AMD.

it depends on what processor you are trying to pick. if you would compare Intel Pentium 4 / Pentium D with AMD Athlon 64 / AMD 64 X2 then AMD is the choice, but between Intel Core 2 Duo and AMD Athlone 64 X2 or AMD Athlon FX, then Intel has far supperior offerings than AMD.

if u have more graphics related work such as designing etc then u should go for AMD. AMD provides better graphics than INTEL. if not then INTEL is better for editing and general uses like programming etc.

i prefer AMD since i am using one.I use AMD because --comparatively cheap --high performance --high stabilty --greater support for gaming i recommned AMD FX 64 bit computing.It has many advantage over intel pentium 4 processors.but i heard that intel pentium duo core2 is much better than other precedures and a like performance with AMD 64.so i f you are going to buy a new computer either you go for AMD FX 64 or Pentium 4 Duo core 2.

Intel is the oldest company and also the best reputed in the market .It have excellent R&D capablity .These are the reasons why i like intel too much .AMD is also good but the problem with this is the temparature capablity of AMD .There are a lots of other major impacts which make Intel much better than AMD .

Don't listen to idiots who say that AMD has heating issues, this is not true now. AMD was leader owing to their superior performance but now the earlier defeated intel has made a major comeback with Core 2 Duo series they are hunters and makes competition hollow. They are also very cheap. Intel E6600 offers offers superior performance to AMD FX-62 and it is 1/3 in price. So, today intel is better than AMD. Go for AMD. Also it is wrong that intel has higher reputation, AMD had higher reputation in processors but now intel has taken over.
