problems of 20% Indians who are below povery line and ways to reform

Today almost 20% of Indian population is below poverty line. Everyday they have to do something so that they and their family can eat something. they expend many days without having something to eat. I have met some people who drive "riksha", work as labor or beg for their livelihood, their children do not got to schools. I think its our responsibility to reform their condition. What we can is just give few hours of our daily life for their better future. we all can start by thinking what to do. then discussing our ideas and finally working on them. it all takes very few time of your life and gives very much mental relief along with crating a better India.
