i believe in both, destiny and free will. things were laid down long before our existence, the greater plan. what is only in our hand is our future, the time that we'll be on earth. what to wear, what to eat, what course should we take, who do we want to love are the examples of what we can control but how long we want to enjoy those choices are beyond our powers. that's how i i view the interaction of freewill and destiny.

It can be either way. If something that we cannot explain happens, we would think it is out of destiny without much thinking about it, namely the so-called superstition we say. But we can also change our fate if we wish to as we are supposed to be masters of our own fate. Take care.

Life is a combination of both. The path is set right before us but we need to take it out of our own free will.

I believe in both actually. I believe that there are some factors that are already pre-determined. I also believe that when we have the chance to make a choice, that it can possibly change that pre-determined factor. If that makes any sense to you at all.

Personally, I believe in destiny. Destiny dominates over free will. The Lord has already set a plan for us even before we are alive. He already knew what we will be and He has great plans for us.
However, I also believe in freewill. We are all shaped according to our experiences. But this freewill is still in accordance to our destiny. Say for instance, I am passionate for writing, so I would choose to be a writer. I wouldn't want to be in other field because I believe I am destined for writing.. ^_^
We make our own destiny. But we still have our borders. ^_^

I don't believe in destiny. I don't believe that every single detail of our lives are laid out before us and we just walk the path we are meant to walk.
I do believe however, that all living beings are connected, like a web, and we make choices every day which effect other people. It is because of these choices that change our future as well as the choices made by other people - minute after minute - so our future is ever changing.

I firmly believe in destiny and respect the force which keep testing us human being. Yes people do say Power is in our hand to shape our future but this only is said by those who have a remarkable extended luck and getting away with every thing they do but it doesnt happen to a regular guy.

A... for me, it is both.
Our life is already predetermined by God, but God provides us with choices. God gives us the right to choose freely. Thats why everything that happens is our life is also based on our free will, our CHOICES.
