Is there really such a thing as a genuine money making opportunity online? I don't believe there is.
I have seen so many links for these things with people saying they are good and genuine and free, etc. but then you go to them and there is always some catch. The most ridiculous one I have seen was one which looked quite good, it was free, there didn't seem to be any catch but it was US only. Now, that's fine if you live in the US but this one on an English site. It was a site with a specific location, so why was there are US only "opportunity" advertised on it? They are also advertised on jobsearch sites.
I suppose what I am trying to say is that these sites shouldn't be advertised in places where they have absolutely no relevence to the audience. It is hard enough trying to find a proper job as it is without having to sift through a load of these "opportunities" as well.

Perhaps one of the reasons why mylot population is exploding by the day is because so far it's only the one that actually pays and have been proven. Stories of people leaving mylot for supposedly finding another good paying site eventually come back. I've tried to check the sites recommended by some users and mostly have a catch. Either it has a limited coverage or the first payout will be after 2 years and who knows if that site will survive for another 2 years. That being said, I still hope that there are still good sites out there that are just waiting to be discovered.

Thank you for your fair and unbiased answer. I also hope their are other good sites. I think there are too many people who just want to make easy money and a lot of sites take advantage rather than catering to those few who are still willingly to earn!

It is difficult to make a lot of money but it is quite easy to make a little extra. I'm in the UK and i think i've made a couple of hundered pounds online. All the information is on my website: www.moneyonline.co.nr and none of the sites listed ask you for any money. I haven't tried any that do but i would advise staying away from them. I do see your point and i spend a lot of time sifting through scams etc as research for my website and of course for me but i think you just need to persevere. But of course online earnings will never act as a substitute for a real job. I hope that helps a little and gives you a little bit more faith. :]

Thank you for understanding what I meant. I won't go near any site which asks for money because if I had the money to invest in something, I would not invest in a website!
I'm not looking to substitute a real job. Actually, a would rather have a real job than try to make money from the internet.

It's almost impossible to find real online opportunities that make much money. I do surveys but the ones available in England either don't pay much or only pay in vouchers you don't want. Even the sites telling you about scams can be another type of scam.

I have 2 opportunities that are legitimate and they don't ask for any money upfront.
