What if you can wake up in your dreams? It is possible! But Would YOU?

Today i was going through the daily newspaper where there was an article on devices available in the market like Nova Blinkers. The device works by using external stimulus; general consists of a series of LEDs mounted on special goggles which a person wears when he/she sleeps. When a sensor detects that REM (rapid eye movement) state of sleep has been reached (a vibrational sensor, activation by the REM), the LEDs are switched on for just an instant, in effect, the "blink". The brain receiving this stimulus, kicks into action and the person wakes up, in a stateof "apparent lucidity", inside the dream. Just imagine people, a people a man plugs in the blinker and goes off to sleep and wakes up in his dream! but there seems to be a flipside as well. There have been incidents where people woke up in the dream and were trapped in it. The longest recorded incident of this trapped lucidit was around 10 hours! Imagine being trapped in your dream for 10 hours and being consciously aware of it and utterly helpless to do anything about it! Its kinda scary. It seems that last year an internet site recorded more than 1.2 million dollars in sales of these Nova Blinkers. What i would like to know is; has anyone used these Nova Blinkers or any similar devices? Has anyone in their dreams, dreamt of waking up in it? And were successful? Would any of you want to try such a device? And what do you think how it would be to wake up in your dreams? Personal Experiences if any? Post your thoughts people!

Well I have never used such devices but here I would like to narrate a beautiful experience of mine, ONe fine morning I was roaming a beautiful place in my dream, at that time My milkman came and knocked, I got up and took milk from him in a daze so that the dream I am in should not broke and after keeping the milk in refrigerator I again went back to my bed and my dream but when later I woke up It was difficult to remember what was the place I was visiting in.

thanks for posting, you've been rated. Well that's a nice one sunita, its always hard to wake up and then again go back to your dream, you tend to forget parts of it. I never wake up when im in a good dream, just ask the person who's waking me up to go away :D

Well if i could wake up in my dreams especially if im dreaming of superman and i could fly high in the sky then sure as hell i would love to wake up in my dream. Soar high in the sky perhaps and use some superpowers on the bad guy. But being trapped inside is indeed a scary thing to even think of.
