Burning CDs and DVDs - Nero or whatelse?

When I bought my last CD-DVD writer I found the complete Nero suite included. I was using it for about a year, not without problems. Very often it had writing errors and I had to throw away the support and burn a new one. I had to remember that before burning the next CD or DVD I had to restart the computer, because almost every time I tried to make a second one it was wasted. I also had to stop any other activity while burning a CD or DVD because otherwise it almost surely would have been corrupted.
Although having a quite good writer (Philips DVDR1640/35M)I thought it was a PC or writer problem, always believing that Nero Burning ROM was the best program for that purpose.
A few months ago a friend of mine adviced me to try Stomp RecordNow Max and so I did. Since then I NEVER had a problem! This program works really great and is even more simpler to use than Nero Burning ROM. I am really happy with it and I would like to suggest to try this program to everyone who's having problems with Nero or similar programs.
Did you have similar experiences?
Are you using Nero and are happy with it or are you having problems too?
If you are not using Nero or RecordNow Max, which program are you using? and why would you suggest it to others?
